About Translation
The translation engine uses the configured backend (HuggingFace, External API, or Sentry) to translate manufacturing documents with domain-specific terminology.
When a manufacturing glossary is available, domain-specific terms (tolerances, GD&T symbols, material grades, etc.) are automatically protected during translation for accuracy.
Configure the translation engine via settings.translation_engine
or the SOLACE__TRANSLATION_ENGINE environment variable.
